Terms of service
By using SMS Activate, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms. Please confirm the service, country and price before ordering.
1. The service
We provide temporary virtual numbers for receiving one-time SMS verification codes for a chosen website or app. Numbers, prices, stock and validity periods come from a live feed; the quote shown when you place the order applies.
2. Account and security
- Register with a working email address; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Keep your credentials safe and change your password and contact us if you notice unusual sign-ins or balance changes.
- You may not use multiple accounts to bypass limits or abuse promotions.
3. Orders and billing
- The quote is locked when you order, and the amount is placed on hold in your balance.
- Once an SMS arrives the amount on hold is charged; if the order is cancelled or expires without an SMS, it returns to your balance.
- A number is usable only during the order validity period and cannot receive messages afterwards.
4. Top-ups and balance
Balance is topped up through Alipay. Arrival time depends on the payment channel; the balance and ledger appear in your wallet. Balance can only be spent on numbers in this service and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. See the Refund policy for refund rules.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the service for anything unlawful, including fraud, scams, harassment, spreading illegal content, infringing others’ rights, or violating the terms of the target platform. You are responsible for checking whether the target platform allows virtual numbers for registration or verification.
6. Availability
Delivery depends on the target platform, carriers and upstream suppliers. We cannot guarantee a code will arrive for a particular service at a particular time. We will restore the service as soon as possible after maintenance, network or supplier interruptions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for losses caused by account bans on the target platform, failed verification, third parties, or your breach of these terms is limited to the amount actually paid for the relevant order.
8. Account actions
If these terms are breached we may restrict or terminate the account and reserve the right to pursue remedies allowed by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms for business or legal reasons. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
